On the bank of the Changjiang in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province. Formerly it was an island in the river, but silting has relegated it to a more terrestrial life. The famous temple, 金山寺 Jinshansi (formerly named 江天寺 Jiangtiansi) perches on its flank. This is the vista of the Changjiang from the top of the Jinshansi pagoda on Jinshan.
