Small hills about a half hour drive from downtown Nanning, Guangxi Province. This is a very old cultural site. The oldest temple here is the 水月庵 Shuiyuean built in the Tang Dynasty. Today on July 4th, 2006 I came by car, but the ancient way to come was on the river and then climbing these moss covered stone steps to the 水月庵 Shuiyuean. Today it is a pleasant green park with small lake, pagoda and two temples.
