This small bump in the middle of Xuangcheng City is famous of the Xietiao tower on its peak. Xie Tiao, an official and poet, was stationed here during the Six Dynasties period. Later, during the Tang, Li Bai visited and wrote a famous poem here. From the character 陵 ling, it seems probable this may have originally been a tomb of some sort. This bump was also called 青山 in a poem by 陸龜蒙 Lu Guimeng d. 881, which has caused some confusion as to its name.
