The highest peak, at 2,648 meters, of the Nigiri Hills. Located just outside of Ooty. The pleassant hike to the peak from Ooty, through stands of red gum and blue gum trees, takes about one and a half hours. Dodda means 'big' and betta means 'mountain' in the local language.
