Returning To Live In The Country (2)
        Tao Yuanming (Tao Qian 365-427

I plant beans below South Mountain,
Grass flourishes, bean sprouts few.
At dawn happily break new ground,
Carry the moon back on my hoe.
Narrow footpath, vegetation thick,
Evening dew moistens my clothes.
Soaked clothes are no big deal,
Since no external pressures intrude.

Guī Yuántián Jū Wǔshōu (Èr)
Táo Yuānmíng (Táo Qián) 365-427

Zhǒng dòu Nánshān xià,
Cǎo chéng dòumiáo xī.
Chén xìng lǐ huānghuì,
Dài yuè hé chú guī.
Dào xiá cǎo mù cháng,
Xī lù zhān wǒ yī.
Yī zhān bùzú xī,
Dànshǐ yuàn wú wéi.
