李白

Looking Toward Heaven's Gate
        Li Bo 699-762

From the middle of Heaven's Gate
breaks forth the river of Chu,
Emerald waters' eastward flow  touches
        north and then returns.
On either shore a mountain green,
        emerging face to face,
Beside the sun a lonely sail: one single
        sheet approaching.

Bìshuǐ dōnɡ liú zhí cǐ huí.
Liǎnɡ’àn qīnɡshān xiānɡ duì chū,
Gūfān yí piàn rì biān lái.
