| Formerly the name of this temple was the 棲禪寺 Qīchánsì Meditation Perch Temple. On the temple grounds is the tomb of the Western Monk 鳩摩羅什 Jiūmāluóshí, who came to China from Kucha on the northern edge of the Taklamakan Desert. |
